SOUVLAKI GEORGE NEXT-LEVEL AWESOME! We rolled into town for a hockey tournament and needed to feed our hungry squad of 60. Enter: Souvlaki George. And let me tell you—this place DELIVERED. We hit up Adrian with less than 24 hours’ notice (yeah, we’re those people), and he handled it like an absolute pro. Fast replies, great recommendations, no panic—just calm, cool, and catering genius. And then... the food arrived. GAME. OVER. Every dish was chef’s kiss perfection. Authentic. Homemade. Full of flavour and love. The meats were juicy. The salads were fresh. The rice? Fluffy heaven. Even the picky eaters went back for seconds (and thirds). Not your typical takeout vibes—this was real, honest Greek cooking that felt like a warm hug from Yiayia herself. Tradition passion in every bite. Huge shoutout to Adrian and the awesome team for saving the day and making it feel effortless. We’re already plotting our return just to visit the restaurant in person. Souvlaki George, you’ve officially earned 60 new fans for life. Respect. Gratitude. And see you soon!

Great little gem in NDG, that has been open since 1988. The place is very well known by the Loyola students, as that is how we first discovered it. The food's quality has not changed since then, the meats are really well seasoned, the salad is amazing (hello addictive yellow salad dressing!) and don't forget the greek potatoes, they are so flavourful! The meats are very well seasoned, like better than SOOOOO many places. We also had calamari which were crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside, with an amazing dipping sauce! The spanakopita are fresh, homemade and huge, the best we tried so far! Everything is homemade and you can taste it!

I can't say enough good things about Souvlaki George! Our hockey team recently ordered catering from them while in town for a tournament, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we reached out, the manager, Anastasia, was incredibly helpful. She assisted us in selecting the perfect menu for our group of 60 with less than 24 hours' notice, and she made it all happen seamlessly. The level of service we received was truly impressive! Now let's talk about the food—wow! It was incredibly delicious and homemade, unlike anything you’d get at a chain restaurant. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavours that left everyone raving. It’s clear that quality and tradition are at the heart of what they do. We would highly recommend Souvlaki George to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to town, where we hope to stop by the restaurant for the full experience. A huge thank you to Anastasia and the entire team for making our group meal such a success. You’ve definitely made us fans for life!

It was actually my first time going to this restaurant, and the guy there was super nice and helpful, he recommended me on what to eat and everything. And I can say that it did not disappoint, the food was soo good, I took the Gyro Pita and some potatoes as a side, I was shocked by how filling it was, and all of that for 17. Worth it!! I will definitely come back :)

I’ve been ordering from Souvlaki George my whole life and in my opinion, it’s a highly underrated Greek spot. Their gyro pita, chicken, pork are all delicious!!! I’m not even a fan of French fries and I find them the best. Everything is made in house, including the salad dressing which is also so good. It’s a family-owned restaurant and they’re so sweet. Great service. Big terrasse in the summer to dine in outside. Highly recommend ordering your Greek food from there from now on (they have their own drivers - go through them directly!)
